Yield boost

Outlook 10/23: U.S. stock futures fall Monday as Treasury yields rose and traders looked ahead to the release of corporate earnings from tech industry giants. The benchmark 10-year Treasury note yield briefly climbed back above the key 5% level. It was last trading just below that mark. Interest rates have soared in recent weeks, with the 10-year’s break above 5% on Thursday marking the first such occurrence for the benchmark since July of 2007. Comments from Federal Reserve chair Jerome Powell that monetary policy could tighten further seemingly stoked investor concern and underpinned the rise in Treasury yields.

/ESZ23 (Dec 2023): YVAH 4280 YPOC 4269 YVAL 4247 GAP 4245

/ES Plan: Last session market closed bearish, and overnight continues on that way, moving below previous value/range, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above HVE 4224 with bullish internals, buy towards YLOD-GAP 4245 YVAL 4247 ONH 4261 and YVAH 4280.

B) If market moves below HVE 4224 with bearish internals, sell towards ONL 4215 HVE-PBT 4200 HVEs 4287-4275 and GAP 4159.

Note: It's Monday and Mondays are usually the quietest days of the week. Many traders want to take their time analyzing the market, and usually, there are few economic releases. Market opens below value and if it begins to trade within value, Value Area Rule VAR comes into play.
