After Debate

Outlook 10/23: U.S. equity futures rose early Friday as markets weighed the potential for additional fiscal stimulus, as well as news on the earnings and coronavirus treatment fronts. Futures slight move higher came after President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden took part in the final presidential debate before the Nov. 3 election. The pair discussed a broad range of issues during the debate, including the coronavirus pandemic, foreign policy and health care. Futures, however, remained little changed throughout the debate.

/ESZ20 Value: YVAH 3437 YPOC 3424 YVAL 3408 GAP 3448.25

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bullish, and overnight continues on that way (PBT 3474), moving above yesterday's range, so these are the initial balance options for today's opening:

A) If market remains above LIS YHOD 3453 with bullish internals, buy towards ONH 3462.50 and HVE 3480.

B) If market moves below LIS YHOD 3453 with bearish internals, sell towards GAP 3448.25 and ONL-YVAH 3437.

Note: Market opens above previous value area and if it remains above value, it is a clearly bullish signal. But, if market begins to trade within value with volume increasing, 'value area rule' comes into play.
