Powell-Yellen II

Outlook 03/24: U.S. stock futures are looking more positive after a late selloff on Tuesday. Federal Reserve Chairman Powell and Treasury Secretary Yellen will continue their testimony today on Capitol Hill. In their first joint appearance, the pair acknowledged that "asset prices are high," but said that they are not worried about financial stability and the economic recovery "looks to be strengthening." They also emphasized that the $1.9T stimulus package should not lead to a sizable increase in inflation, though if necessary, the central bank has the tools it needs to deal with rising price pressures.

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bearish, but overnight looks more bullish (PBT 3936), moving within yesterday's value, so these are the initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above LIS 3914 with bullish internals, buy towards ONH 3919 HVE 3936 and YVAH 3938.

B) If market moves below LIS 3914 with bearish internals, sell towards ONL 3892.25 GAP 3870 and HVE 3862.

Note: Market opens within previous value area. Trading from responsive versus initiative is expected, so don't be 'too anxious' to trade early.
