Delta Fears

Outlook 07/19: U.S. stock futures are pointing to a sharply lower open, as the rise of the rapidly spreading Delta variant is threatening to derail many efforts towards a full economic reopening. Delta isn't the only thing weighing on investors' minds. Inflation fears resurfaced on Friday after data from the University of Michigan showed that consumers believed prices would jump 4.8% over the next year, marking the steepest climb since August 2008. There's also worries about a peak in economic activity, tapering talk, the Q2 earnings season and whether the bullish sentiment in markets has reached a tipping point.

/ES Plan: Last session market closed bearish, and overnight continues on that way, moving below Friday's range, so these're today's options:

A) If market moves above HVE 4278 with bullish internals, buy towards  Half  Gap and GAP 4314.75

B) If market remains below HVE 4278 with bearish internals, sell towards HVE 4250 and GAP 4233.50

Note: Overnight inventory is 100% bearish. The expected action is a counter-auction relative to overnight inventory; failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential trend day.
