Jobless Claims

Outlook 08/12: U.S. stock futures point to balanced open after the initial jobless claims declined for the third consecutive week as the U.S. labor market continues its recovery from last year’s recession. There were 375,000 claims last week, matching estimates from economists. Jobless claims numbers have come down sharply since the spring as the economy has recovered, and they have settled near the 400,000 level in recent weeks. The four-week average is now 396,250 initial claims. The latest jobless claims report, comes after the July jobs report showed a bigger-than-expects gain in employment.

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bullish, but overnight looks more balanced after printing new ATH-ON, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above YVAH 4442 with bullish internals, buy towards ONH-ATH 4444.25 and PBTs 4448/4454.

B) If market remains below YVAH 4442 with bearish internals, sell towards GAP 4440 YVAL 4434 and GAP 4427.50

Note: Remember that record high has been printed overnight, so it's still pending to be revisited at regular trading hours.
