Jobs Report

Outlook 08/06: U.S. stock futures point to a balanced open after nonfarm payrolls rose by 943,000 in July, better than the 870,000 estimated. Job gains came fastest in leisure and hospitality, followed by education and professional and business services. The unemployment rate slid to 5.4%, compared to the 5.7% expectation. The unemployment rate has tumbled from pandemic high of 14.8% but remains well above the 3.5% before the crisis. Federal Reserve policymakers have vowed to keep ultra-easy monetary policy in place until it sees stronger signs of full employment.

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bullish, and overnight prints a new ATH, moving above yesterday's value, so these are the initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above Prev ATH 4423 with bullish internals, buy towards ONH 4429.50 and PBTs 4434-4443.

B) If market moves below Prev ATH 4423 with bearish internals, sell towards YVAH 4415 HVE 4409 and GAP 4396.

Note: Remember that record high has been printed overnight, so it's still pending to be revisited at regular trading hours.
