Debt ceiling

Outlook 09/27: U.S. stock futures under pressure Monday after the SP500 eked out gains Friday for a third straight session of advances in a week of wild swings. The deadline in the debt ceiling showdown in Washington approaches, with a government shutdown possible on Friday, Oct. 1. Democrats in the House have passed a bill that would avert a shutdown and suspend the debt ceiling temporarily, but that will go nowhere in the Senate without support from some Republicans. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell is scheduled to testify before the Senate on Tuesday and the House on Thursday.

/ESZ21: YVAH 4446 YPOC 4436 YVAL 4427 GAP 4445.75

/ES Plan: Last session  market closed balanced, but overnight looks more bearish, moving within Friday's value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above YPOC 4436 with bullish internals, buy towards GAP 4445.75 ONH 4472 and HVE 4483.

B) If market remains below YPOC 4436 with bearish internals, sell towards ONL 4427 and HVEs 4423-4406-4385.

Note: Market opens inside value, so don't be 'too anxious' to trade early. Bad trades occur when you try to force things to happen, don’t force it.
