Holiday week

Outlook 02/20: U.S. stock futures dip as investors look to holiday-shortened trading week. The moves follow a losing week on Wall Street after economic data raised concerns that the Federal Reserve may not begin cutting interest rates as soon, or by as much, as market participants expected this year. Tuesday kicks off the shortened trading week after U.S. markets were closed Monday in observance of the birthday of George Washington. Investors will watch for leading economic indicators data due at 10 a.m. ET.

/ESH24 (MAR 2024): YVAH 5049 YPOC 5044 YVAL 5025 GAP 5015.50

/ES Plan: Friday's session market closed bearish, and reopening, after President's day, looks bearish (PBT 4981), still moving below value/range, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above HVE 5000 with bullish internals, buy towards YVAL-ONH 5025 and YVAH-HVE 5049.

B) If market moves below HVE 5000 with bearish internals, sell towards ONL 4994 PBT 4981 and GAP 4071.

Note: Overnight inventory is 100% bearish. The expected action is a counter-auction; failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential trend day. Market opens below value and if it begins to trade within value, VAR comes into play.
