Outlook 04/04: U.S. stock futures turn higher after third straight day of losses. Initial jobless claims increased more than expected last week, hitting their highest level since late January. Investors fears that the Federal Reserve may keep rates higher longer have weighed on stocks this week. Fed Chairman Jerome Powell said on Wednesday that policymakers will need more proof that inflation is moving toward the central bank’s 2% guideline before rates can come down. Atlanta Fed President Raphael Bostic also told CNBC that he thinks just one cut might be in the cards. Investors are now awaiting Friday for the release of March’s jobs report.

/ESM24 (JUN 2024): YVAH 5281 YPOC 5277 YVAL 5259 GAP 5269.75

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bullish (PBT 5309), and overnight continues on that way, moving well above value/range, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above PBT 5309 with bullish internals, buy towards HVE 5323 and ATH-ETH 5333.

B) If market remains below PBT 5309 with bearish internals, sell towards YHOD 5281 and GAP 5269.

Note: Overnight inventory is 100% bullish. The expected action is a counter-auction; failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential trend day. Market opens above value and if it begins to trade within value, VAR comes into play.
