FOMC week

Outlook 04/29: U.S. stock futures edge higher on Monday morning as the broad index came off its best week in several months. Traders are looking ahead to a week with more corporate earnings, key labor data and a Federal Reserve meeting. It’s shaping up to be a strong quarter. More than 45% SP500 listed firms have posted results and four out of every five have surpassed expectations. Monetary policy will take center stage later in the week, with the Fed set to release its latest interest rate announcement on Wednesday. While the central bank is widely anticipated to keep the borrowing cost unchanged, investors will still closely monitor the post-announcement Powell press conference.

/ESM24 (JUN 2024): YVAH 5144 YPOC 5135 YVAL 5125 GAP 5129.75

/ES Plan: Last session market closed bullish (PBT 5168), and Sunday's reopening continues on that way, moving within previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above YVAH 5144 with bullish internals, buy towards ONH 5147 HVE 5155 PBT 5168 and HVE 5196.

B) If market moves below YVAH 5144 with bearish internals, sell towards ONL 5134 GAP 4130 and HVE-YVAL 5125.

Note: Overnight inventory is 100% bullish. The expected action is a counter-auction; failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential trend day. If market opens above value and if it begins to trade within value, VAR comes into play. It's Monday, usually the quietest days of the week. Many traders want to take their time analyzing the market, and usually, there are few economic releases.
