Outlook 05/22: U.S. stock futures slip Wednesday as investors looked ahead to the widely-anticipated release of Nvidia's latest earnings report. Nvidia is slated to post fiscal first-quarter results after the bell Wednesday, with analysts expecting another strong quarter. The chipmaker’s earnings announcement has become one of the most important events on the macro calendar. The day after Nvidia’s last earnings report in February, the SP500 jumped more than 2% the following day, marking the benchmark’s best daily results in over a year. Traders will also watch out for minutes from the latest Federal Open Market Committee meeting, as well as April’s existing home sales.
