Trump effect

Outlook 07/15: Stock futures advance on Monday as investors evaluated the impact of the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump and geared up for a big week of corporate earnings. Traders were monitoring the latest developments with the attempted assassination of Trump, the Republican candidate for president. While it had potential to create more political strife in the country, investors also speculated it could lead to further gains in the polls for Trump and Republicans ahead of the November election. Investors will also follow remarks from Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell at the Economic Club of Washington, D.C. at 12:30 p.m. ET.

/ESU24 (SEP2024): YVAH 5700 YPOC 5680 YVAL 5656 GAP 5668.75

/ES Plan: Last session market closed balanced, but overnight looks bullish (PBT 5712), still moving within previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above YPOC 5680 with bullish internals, buy towards ONH 5695 YVAH 5700 and PBT 5712.

B) If market moves below YPOC 5680 with bearish internals, sell towards YVAL 5656 GAP 5639 and HVE 5627.

Note: It's Monday, usually the quietest days of the week. Many traders want to take their time analyzing the market. Don't expect a trending session as Friday. Don't be 'too anxious'. Stay patient. Let the market lead. You don’t have to be the first. Bad trades occur when you try to force things to happen.
