Labor data

Outlook 09/05: Stock futures fall Thursday as investors dumped risk assets, and concerns mounted over the outlook for the U.S. economy. Fresh labor market data Thursday sent mixed signals about the health of the U.S. economy as questions linger over whether the Federal Reserve is behind the curve on rate cuts. Private payrolls data showed the weakest growth since 2021, heightening fears of a slowing labor market. That puts heightened scrutiny on jobs data, with all eyes on Friday’s August nonfarm payrolls report. A weak July report released last month spurred recession fears and a raft of volatility in August.

ESU24 (SEP2024): YVAH 5543 YPOC 5535 YVAL 5520 GAP 5522

/ES Plan: Last session market closed balanced, and overnight continues on that way, moving within previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market remains above YVAL 5520 with bullish internals, buy towards GAP 5522 HVE-ONH-YVAH 5540-43 and HVE-YHOD 5560-65.

B) If market moves below YVAL 5520 with bearish internals, sell towards ONL 5506 and ONL 5512 HVE 5509 and GAP-PBT 5485-80 magnets.

Note: Market opens in balance. Don't be 'too anxious'. Stay patient. Let the market lead. You don’t have to be the first. Bad trades occur when you try to force things to happen.
