FOMC Minutes

Outlook 08/20: Stock futures slipped early Wednesday as investors weighed a mixed batch of retail earnings and looked ahead to the latest meeting minutes release from the Fed due at 2 p.m. ET. At the time, policymakers once more held steady on interest rates, but Fed Governors Christopher Waller and Michelle Bowman dissented, marking the first time two voting Fed officials have done so since 1993. That comes ahead of remarks from Fed Chair Jerome Powell on Friday, which investors will monitor for insights into the path of interest rates. Fed funds futures are pricing in a nearly 85% likelihood of the central bank cutting interest rates at its next policy gathering in September.

ESU25 (SEP2025): YVAH 6458 YPOC 6426 YVAL 6421 GAP 6434

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bearish, but overnight looks balanced, moving a few ticks within previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market remains above YVAL 6421 with bullish internals/delta, buy towards GAP-ONH 6434-38 YVAH-VAR 6458 magnets.

B) If market moves below YVAL 6421 with bearish internals/delta, sell towards ONL 6409 and GAP 6397 PBT-GAP 6374 magnets.

Note: Remember that new record high has been printed overnight, so it's still pending to be revisited at regular hours. Overnight inventory is 100% bearish. The expected action is a counter-auction. Failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential bearish trend day.
