Maduro's arrest

Outlook 01/05: Stock futures rise on Monday even after the U.S. attack on Venezuela and capture of leader Nicolas Maduro as crude oil prices showed little reaction and investors bet the action would not lead to bigger geopolitical conflicts that upset markets. Even with the bullish equities reaction, traders also hedged positions by adding exposure to gold. Futures contracts tied to the precious metal rose more than 2%. Bitcoin had traded back above $93,000. This week, traders will look out for the release of the December jobs report on Friday. Economists expect the economy added 54,000 jobs last month.

ESH26 (Mar2026): YVAH 6907 YPOC 6902 YVAL 6873 GAP 6903

/ES Plan: Last session market closed bearish, but Sunday's reopening session looks bullish, moving above previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market moves above HVE 6932 with bullish internals/delta, buy towards YHOD 6939 and GAP 6978 PBTs 7006-7015 magnets.

B) If market moves below HVE 6932 with bearish internals/delta, sell towards YVAH 6907 YVAL 6873 and GAP 6822-6794 magnets.

Note: Market opens above value and if it begins to trade within value, VAR setup comes in play. It's Monday and Mondays are usually the quietest days of the week. Many institutional players return from holidays weeks and want to take their time analyzing the market. Don't be too anxious. Stay patient.
