VIX wake up

Outlook 01/20: Stock futures pointed to big losses on Tuesday after President Donald Trump intensified his rhetoric on Greenland, threatening to impose new tariffs on countries opposing the sale of the Danish territory to the United States. Markets have reacted but there’s clearly room for bigger moves if the rhetoric increases further. Trump, who is due to speak at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, on Wednesday, said he had agreed to speak with European leaders at the conference to discuss his Greenland ambitions. The Cboe Volatility Index jumped above 19, its highest levels since November.

ESH26 (Mar2026): YVAH 6993 YPOC 6985 YVAL 6975 (Friday's Value)

/ES Plan: Last session market closed balanced, but US reopening, after holiday, looks bearish, moving below previous value/range, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market moves above HVE 6896 with bullish internals/delta, buy towards HVE HVE 6933-6955 and YVAL-SoC 6975 magnet.

B) If market moves below HVE 6896 with bearish internals/delta, sell towards ONL 6845 and GAPs 6822-6794 magnets.

Note: Overnight is 100% bearish. The expected action is a counter-auction. Failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential bearish trend day.
