After FOMC

Outlook 04/30: Stock futures rise on Thursday as traders parsed through the latest batch of corporate earnings, while oil prices declined slightly. Federal Reserve voting to hold interest rates steady in the range of 3.5% to 3.75%, as investors had largely expected, although the 8-4 vote marked the first time four Fed officials have dissented since 1992. The Fed held rates unchanged and itraders expect that to continue for the rest of this year. Several FOMC members are clearly uncomfortable with rising inflation and want to signal that the next move may not be a cut. With Powell choosing to stay on as a Fed governor, those in favor of cuts, including incoming Chair Kevin Warsh, are in the minority. Warsh is going to have a hard time convincing a majority to cut rates.

ESM26 (Jun2026): YVAH 7170 YPOC 7159 YVAL 7149 GAP 7138

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed balanced, but overnight looks more bullish (PBT 7226), moving above previous value/range, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market moves above HVE 7202 with bullish internals/delta, buy towards ONH 7211 and ATH-ON 7224 magnet.

B) If market moves below HVE 7202 with bearish internals/delta, sell towards YVAH 7170 and YVAL 7149 magnet.

Note: FOMC day always brings an overreaction. Today is the digestion of FOMC, and tomorrow is when we'll get confirmation of the next trend. Keep in mind that Thursdays are usually the trending days of the week. End of Month are rebalanced days for funds manager (HFs, PFs, OLs, CTAs) to open or close weekly positions, and Today PFs expect to sell 25bln to balance their funds.
