Outlook 04/10: Stock futures are flat on Friday, with the index on pace to post a solid weekly gain, as traders kept an eye on the fragile two-week ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran. Overall traffic through the strait has still not improved since the ceasefire deal was announced, as only some bulk carriers have traversed the key waterway. The only issue that matters to the markets is free traffic in the Strait of Hormuz. On the economic front, traders assessed March’s consumer price index reading, which showed that inflation was tame when excluding energy prices. Including food and energy prices, inflation was as expected.

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bullish (PBT 6943), but overnight looks balanced, moving within previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market moves above YVAH 6875 with bullish internals/delta, buy towards HVE 6900 and GAP 6918 PBT 6943 magnets.

B) If market moves below YVAH 6875 with bearish internals/delta, sell towards GAP 6859 and YVAL-VAR 6817 both magnets.

Note:  It's 'Capital Preservation Friday'. Try to be calm and focus rather than thinking about your P/L account. Fridays are rebalanced days for funds manager to open or close weekly time frames positions.
