Outlook 04/09: U.S. stock futures continue to gain on hopes that the pandemic is nearing a peak and that a crude oil output deal will be struck. Jobless rolls continued to swell due to the coronavirus shutdown, with 6.6 million Americans filing first-time unemployment claims in the week ended April 4, the Labor Department reported Thursday. That brings the total over the past three weeks to more than 16 million. Federal Reserve unveils details of $2.3 trillion in programs to help support the economy.
