Outlook 05/28: U.S. stock index futures point to neutral opening after another 2.1 million file jobless claims, the lowest total since the coronavirus crisis began though indicative that a historically high number of Americans remain separated from their jobs. The high jobless numbers persist even as all states have reopened their economies to various extents. About 41 million claims have been filed since the coronavirus was declared a pandemic.
