After Debate

Outlook 09/30: U.S. equity futures traded near breakeven after the first U.S. presidential debate. If investors were hoping to get any economic clarity from last night's presidential debate, it was a total fail. Bickering, badgering and insults reigned through much of the hour-and-a-half political brawl that made it hard for either man to make a point, while odds increased that the coming election may not be decided for weeks or even months. Financial markets do not like uncertainty...

/ESZ20 Value: YVAH 3342 YPOC 3331 YVAL 3322 GAP 3334

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bearish (PBT 3300) and overnight repaired that anomaly. Last hour  markets return to the scene of crime, moving within yesterday's value, so these are the initial balance options for today's opening:

A) If market remains below LIS HVE 3331 with bearish internals, sell towards HVE 3318-3302 ONL-3291.25 and GAP 3288.

B) If market moves above LIS HVE 3331 with bullish internals, buy towards HVE 3343 ONH 3358.25 and GAP 3378.

Note: Overnight looks bearish but still moving within yesterday's and overnight's value, so don't be 'too anxious' to trade early. If we're within a value range we want to have some patience until market breaks.
