GDP data

Outlook 01/25: U.S. stock futures gain after GDP report shows strong growth and slowing inflation. The U.S. economy grew at a rate of 3.3% in the fourth quarter, gross domestic product data shows. That’s much higher than the 2% expected. Thursday’s report also included encouraging data on the inflation front. The price index for personal consumption expenditures rose 2.7% on an annualized basis, down from 5.9% a year prior. Core PCE increased by 3.2%, down from 5.1%. The report comes as investors look ahead to possible Federal Reserve rate cuts later this year.

/ESH24 (MAR 2024): YVAH 4930 YPOC 4923 YVAL 4909 GAP 4893.25

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bearish, but overnight, after GDP data, looks bullish, moving within previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for today:

A) If market moves above YVAL 4909 with bullish internals, buy towards YPOC 4923 YVAH 4930 and YHOD 4933.

B) If market moves below YVAL 4909 with bearish internals, sell towards GAP 4893 YLOD 4889 and HVE-GAP 4872.

Note: Market opens inside value. Don't be 'too anxious'. Let the market lead. You don’t have to be the first. Bad trades occur when you try to force things to happen.
