Powell testimony

Outlook 02/11: Stock futures tick lower Tuesday as investors looked ahead to testimony from Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, while they fret over a possible escalation in global trade tensions. The central bank leader first will address the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday, followed by an appearance the next day in front of the House Financial Services Committee. Both events will start at 10 a.m. ET and will begin with prepared remarks from Powell. Powell’s testimony comes at a volatile time in Washington with President Donald Trump favoring tariffs against U.S. trading partners and with mixed messages coming from the administration on its approach to the Fed.

ESH25 (MAR2025): YVAH 6094 YPOC 6089 YVAL 6079 GAP 6084

/ES Plan: Yesterday market closed bullish, but overnight looks bearish (PBT 6051), moving below previous value, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market moves above HVE 6070 with bullish internals, buy towards GAP 6084 YVAH-VAR 6094 and PBT 6130-6164 magnets.

B) If market moves below YVAH 6085 with bearish internals, sell towards PBT-GAP 6051 magnet HVE 6036 and YLOD 6015.

Note: Overnight inventory is 100% bearish. The expected action is a counter-auction; failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential bearish trend day. If market opens below value and it begins to trade within value, VAR comes into play.
