Tariffs banned

Outlook 09/02: Stock futures fall to start September amid new tariff uncertainty, rising bond yields. Investors took profits on bull market winners with the unofficial end of the summer season. Those moves come after a federal appeals court on Friday ruled that most of President Donald Trump’s global tariffs are illegal. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit determined in a 7-4 ruling that only Congress has the authority to apply sweeping levies. Investors were also eying a surge in bond yields to start September. The 10-year Treasury yield jumped to 4.29%, while the 30-year yield topped 4.98%. The big event traders are waiting for is the release of August’s jobs report on Friday and how it will influence the Fed’s interest rate decision coming mid-month.

/ES Plan: Last session market closed bearish (PBT 6433), and overnight continues on that way, moving well below previous value/range, so these're the opening and initial balance options for current session:

A) If market remains above HVE 6385 with bullish internals/delta, buy towards HVE 6431 YLOD 6456 and YPOC 6468 magnet.

B) If market moves below HVE 6385 with bearish internals/delta, sell towards HVEs 64357-6334-6318 and GAP 6268 magnet.

Note: Overnight inventory is 100% bearish. The expected action is a counter-auction. Failure to see the counter-auction would be an indication of potential bearish trend day.
