Outlook 12/24: Stock futures are relatively unchanged on Wednesday after the broad market SP500 printed a new record high. Investors continue to hope for the coveted Santa Claus rally, a year-end market surge that occurs from the opening bell on Dec. 24 until Jan. 5. According stats the SP500 has averaged a 1.3% return during the Santa rally period, with 77% of positive results. The New York Stock Exchange and Nasdaq will close early on Wednesday at 1 p.m. ET on Christmas Eve and will be closed Thursday for Christmas Day.
